“ I went to have lunch with my mom after picking her from the airport & Mirna was very patient with her. Food & service were excellent. My 87yo mother said she'll come back. ”
“ The real deal! Super authentic Guatemalan cuisine. Nice atmosphere. Loved the pupusas, pepian (turkey stew with rice), tortilla filled with chopped steak...yum! Tricky to get into the restaurant from Sepulveda. Enter from Dickens--last parking lot before you get to sepulveda. ”
“ I had lunch here a couple days ago. I've never had Guatemalan food, so I tried it. I'm so glad I did! The interior is decorated in the theme, and there are televisions around with the sound off. One was tuned to what I presume is a Guatemalan station. It's traditional wait service. I had the chicken crema and it was awesome with a sour cream based sauce. It was a large serving on a plate with rice w/vegetables, black beans, and a salad. They also have a smaller lunch specials menu. The place was not crowded at all and I was served immediately by a friendly waitress. You should all try this place out! ”

“ This isn't the first time I have tried this place but it's the first time my wife and I were able to sit down and eat. It was a holiday and the dining room was slow. We saw one girl running the entire floor and one or maybe two people in the kitchen. Needless to say the food wasn't fast but the service was friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing! We started with an order of garnachas. They were perfectly fried and came with pickled cabbage and grilled chili. They ate mini tortillas fried and topped with meat. For my entree I went with the carne adobada. It was tender and flavorful and with the homemade tortillas it was perfect. My wife went with the bistec encebollado which was also very tender and packed with flavor. All in all we will be back! ”
